Developed as a final project for the Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture and Urbanism in 2018. The project aims to stimulate the transformation of the downtown area of the city into a dense and multifunctional neighborhood by decentralizing uses, creating local attractiveness, creating possibilities for a higher quality of life for all those who frequent or inhabit it. The land is located in Sorocaba/Brazil and covers two parking lots and some corner stores that will not be integrated into the project. It is an area with a large variation in building heights, with a predominance of buildings with up to 3 floors. Being self-sufficient combining leisure, work, shopping, and housing, at each level small semi-public squares are creating a new vertical neighborhood.
